The Last Sulwhasoo Timetreasure Honorstige Serum Sachet

Image
Photo of a Pusheen The Cat wash bag with the last Sulwhasoo Timetreasure Honorstige packet on the left, just under Pusheen's left eye. The corner has been ripped off the sachet as it only occurred to me to take a photo after I'd opened it... I've been drafting this post on the Sulwhasoo Timetreasure serums for ages and in the intervening period, the Invigorating has been replaced/reformulated as The Ultimate S. I had thought the Invigorating was completely discontinued, although Lonelyblep notes that it still has the same name in Korea (link below, see ingredients section).  This post is going to be somewhat chaos because of Frankenstein format: my thoughts about the Timetreasure serums and my experience of using my last Honorstige sachet. It's also extremely long, even compared to my usual longish posts! Before I get started, here's an excellent description of the serums generally, see AB Muse: https://www.abmuse.net/2023/07/review-updated-luxe-serum-smackdown.html...

First Impressions: Hera Signia Core Lifting Serum

Odile very kindly recommended the Hera Signia Core Lifting Serum to me on the sub when I was looking for a serum that wasn't made by LG. Whilst I'm not quite boycotting LG, I am trying to reduce my usage and AB Muse's boycott does now include AmorePacific , Hera's parent brand. AB Muse is moving more towards Japanese higher end brands, which I'm trying out to where possible as well but they're not only challenging to get in sample form, the full sizes aren't that easy either. Although I did get some Sekkisei Ultimate Emulsion in my last TK/SJ order, this particular one is super pricey and a pain to order to the UK. Like one site seems to carry it and Amazon.jp doesn't ship it to the UK. But Yesstyle does have what might be the Sekkisei cream, it's not called Medicated (which is what I ordered from TK/SJ) but it might be the same. That at least is an easy ordering option. Whelp that's for future me to decide on. For Hera samples, given my sachet...

First impressions: Sooryehan The Black Exopert Cream

Testing this was enjoyable, I am particularly grateful that I got the 25ml as a free sample randomly with an order! Probably the best free sample I've got, next to the wallet-destroying Whoo Hwanyu eye cream. Lol. Cost : StyleJolly as usual; samples at $1.50 ish for 12*1. I got a 25ml tube as a free sample and it was OOS for ages but is now back in stock at $10 ish for 25ml. Full size retails at about $25-40, depending on size and where you purchase it.  Note that on Yesstyle, the 50ml is currently at £57, that's right: pounds sterling, not dollars and Stylevana aren't even stocking it now. Koreadepart is undergoing maintenance at present. Texture It's super nice to apply, it has that classic soft melting texture. Kinda like the Mary & May Blackberry Cream but way way nicer.  Zero silicones according to the Yesstyle ingredients list. Definitely gets docked points for no siliconey feel, as that is my favourite texture ever. However, if you're not a fan of that in...

Shopping My Stash: Sooryehan Chunsam Radiant White Cream

I wanted the Sooryehan Chunsam Sanghwang Regenerating Cream and TK/SJ had run out of the 10ml pots. It's tricky to get hold of any of the Chunsam products (full sizes anyway) in the UK so when I saw the Chunsam gift set with a 20ml tube of the cream, I had to have it for reasons of sleep creases:  https://commercialpoemferments.blogspot.com/2024/10/the-sleep-crease-saga-continued.html The set, however, has four other 20ml tubes - on the one hand, it's exciting because that's four other Sooryehan products to use. On the other, *sigh* because I didn't want those products in the first place. I've been testing them out, slowly, and I have thoughts. Sooryehan Chunsam Radiant White Cream Format: 20ml tube Test: AM cream  Texture and Fragrance  It's a gel cream generally with a oil application feeling so it goes in the gel to oil category. https://commercialpoemferments.blogspot.com/2024/08/categorising-cream-textures-and-texture.html It's not quite as solidly ...
